- No cursing or abbreviated curses because it brings negative vibes.
- Write whole words when you can to prevent possible misunderstandings.
- Credit your sources for backup and credibility.
- 5 tweets a day 3 per hour max. It is inconsiderate to over tweet.
- 1 tweet per thought to make sure the recipient gets the message.
- List who matters for tweets you need from the people you follow, so you get to the tweets fast.
- Leave space to retweet because that is how topics start trending.
- Promote others often and yourself in moderation for more followers.
- Check your links because everyone hates a broken link.

Since it is a micro blog your feelings are important. There are topics you should not tweet about, but these topics are slightly different than traditional topics to stay away from. It is bad netiquette for individuals to tweet about politics. You will lose followers.
Religion is a good subject for tweets. You may gain followers. There are many religious groups, churches, and other organizations that utilize Twitter. These groups are always looking for followers and typically follow you back if you follow them. No matter what, it is proper twetiquette to keep things positive. Negative tweets contribute to a negative cybershere and that is bad netiquette.
It's a blog, so you don't have to hold back your feelings or complaints. If you have negative feelings and want to complain, do it. However, for every negative feeling and complaint you have, I challenge you to offer a solution to your problem or your just wasting time. Be careful what you tweet. Some people have Tweet remorse after they tweet something that has negative effects on their lives.
Many celebrities have lost endorsements, apologized, or have been embarrassed in other ways for their tweets. Be careful, think before you tweet. It's good netiquette.
