  2. Don't use it in the bathroom because that is not it's intended purpose.

  3. Use it together with friends, it's an open slate so you can share.

  4. Use earphones in public for privacy reasons.

  5. How and where matters. Do not use it if it's not appropriate. you be the judge.

  6. Don't take it to bed because it's not a bedtime book it's a device.

  7. Use it for business or pleasure it's a computer nothing more.

  8. Don't let it distract you. Live in reality not digital distraction.

  9. Your screen is public. So, don't watch adult material in public.

  10. Don't share with strangers because it could be a security risk.





Tablet Netiquette

Tablet Netiquette is the social code of using a Tablet personal computer (PC). Tablet PC's are portable internet devices with an open face and touch screen. Netiquette is the social code of the internet. Therefore, Tablet Netiquette is the social code of using a Tablet PC because Tablets are portable internet devices and Netiquette is the social code of the internet.

Wireless

Wireless is Wi-Fi. Technically, Wi-Fi is a network that uses high frequency signals to communicate. Computers use Wi-Fi to connect to the internet. It's a standard for connecting electronic devices.

Tablet Netiquette is the culture of how, where, and when you use your tablet pc. The rules of good tablet etiquette, proper netiquette. Tablet internet etiquette, netiquette, is the social code of tablets. What, where, when and how to use your tablet computer.

Everyone with any education has taken notes on a blank piece of paper. Some of us passed notes in class. Others drew pictures and showed them to their friends. A blank piece of paper has endless possibilities to someone with the right friends. A tablet of paper is social because it's open. Tablet computers are social as well because they are open.

The features set tablets apart from other handhelds and personal computers. Tablets support high definition 3D games. They turn on faster than cell phones, PC's, laptops, and netbooks. Touching is easier than typing. It is easier to read a tablet than a book because you can read it in the dark.

Tablets computers are not quite ready for you to do your professional work because they don't have the processing power to run high powered programs. However, they do not facilitate showing your work. Tablets are great accessories for any meeting. You can take notes on a tablet and show everyone in the room what you're talking about.

Currently, the Motorola Xoom, Samsung Tab, HP Touchpad, Apple iPad, and Rim Playbook are the Tablet PC's on the market. The Motorola Xoom is the most technologically advanced tablet. It uses the Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.

Android is an open source operating system. HP, Rim, and Apple have proprietary operating systems. Open source equals freedom because it allows any programmer to develop applications. Proprietary operating systems are closed; therefore they are inferior by definition because everyone can't develop for them. Open source operating systems must defend themselves because the applications can alter the system.

Practically, this means that antivirus software must be used to prevent viruses. In addition, special attention must be paid to warnings and notices because they change the code of the operating systems in ways you might not be aware of.

Tablets

A tablet computer is a handheld computer that utilizes a touch screen with built in applications as well as downloadable ones. There is no keyboard or case to close. They are ultra-portable. The features set tablets apart from other handhelds and personal computers. Tablets support high definition 3D games. They turn on faster than cell phones, PC's, laptops, and netbooks. Touching is easier than typing. It is easier to read a tablet than a book because you can read it in the dark.

Amy Android has a great operating system. Her programing is something to be admired. She has a robust platform with some really big apps. She does a lot of voice over work to show her phone features.

Arthur iPhone:

Arthur iPhone is way too cool. He manipulates everyone into thinking he is the best mobile phone ever. He does have the best apps because he works so hard on them and follows his own guidelines for what type of apps he accepts.

Cindy Smartphone:

Cindy Smartphone is one of the brightest women in the Netiquette organization. She has a good head on her shoulders and is carving out a niche for herself in Netiquette.

Nancy Netiquette:

Ms. Netiquette is the star of my netiquette animations. She has the netiquette name. Her character plays many different roles in many different forms because netiquette plays many different roles in the many different forms of internet communication.

Tammy Tablet:

Tammy Tablet is a Diva. She is all about looking good and does not care who knows it.

Labeeb Laptop:

Labeeb Laptop is a really cool guy who means business. He has been working on and around computers his whole life.

Martin Mobile:

Martin Mobile is a geek who loves to help people. He is the go to guy when you need something done that is technical.

William Wireless:

William Wireless is a good guy. Mr. Wireless is always trying to help people by making them aware of mobile phone netiquette and other internet safety tips.
