Student Netiquette Rules
- Ask your teachers permission before using the internet because the internet requires adult supervision.
- Use good conduct online. Follow the school rules online and do friend adults.
- Access appropriate content. Do not surf adult sites. Education only. Follow your teachers instructions.
- Don't use your name online. Use a user name that is different from your real name because cyber stalkers look for personal information to identify victims.
- Keep your address private from everyone online to avoid cyber stalkers and other unwanted guests.
- Do not reveal your telephone number to anyone for any reason because of identity theft and other possible crimes that can occur.
- Stay away from chat. They are for adults. Online particpate in online class discussions because they school related.
- Report cyber bullies because it helps make cyberspace safe for everyone. Cyber bullying is a crime.
- Ask your teachers permission before sending email becuase it is their responsiblity to make sure you send it right.

Student Netiquette is the social code of learning on the internet. Students acquire knowledge through learning. The internet is an education resource at all levels of formal education. Netiquette is the social code of the internet. Therefore, Student Netiquette is the social code of acquiring knowledge by studying because students learn with the internet and netiquette is the social code of the internet.

Netiquette is different at different ages and in different grades. A first grader may not use the same netiquette as a third grader because of the age and learning gap, but the core rules remain the same.
Student internet etiquette, netiquette is what's cool for students to do on the internet. The boundaries of what is cool are set by the teachers. Please be advised that it is cool to follow the rules where the internet is related.
Elementary school children use the internet. Therefore, there have to be some ground rules in addition to the core rules above. Kids should not access other people's files or use someone else's login or bring in media from outside the class. That means, jump drives and cd or floppy disks. Kids should not teach other students what they know about the internet. Elementary school children have social media accounts. Kids should not use them at school. It's bad netiquette because most are not old enough to legitimately have them.
The internet is part of pre-teen, Middle School, culture. Everyone is a Belieber. Most geeks act like there in middle school anyway because they are awkward with girls. Teachers must have strict control over the sites students access and partner with parents to prevent unwanted behavior.
Unwanted behavior includes accessing adult content, using chemicals to make things, and bullying. Bullying is not cool for school or anywhere else. Don't let anyone do it and report it. It's for losers. Students must tell their parents, teacher, or trusted adult. People who bully others and do mean things have personal problems and take their anger out on others. Retaliation is bad netiquette, tell. There are consequences and repercussions for everything cyber-bullies do.
High School is where you learn how to start acting like an adult. Using good netiquette in high school prepares teens for adulthood. Career, college, and other planning can be done on the internet. High schoolers must use good netiquette when communicating with companies, colleges, and others to get the right opportunities.

Students acquire knowledge through learning. In the United States, minors are required to attend school for twelve numbered grades or complete an equivalency test. For the purposes of this site students are those learning material from one of the twelve primary grades. College students are professional students.

Ms. Netiquette is the star of my netiquette animations. She has the netiquette name. Her character plays many different roles in many different forms because netiquette plays many different roles in the many different forms of internet communication.

Past president of the United States of America. President Lincoln is known for honesty.
Animated Co-Workers:
Meeting participants in the Web Based Training netiquette video. They practice good netiquette by asking good questions, making nice comments, and confirming their understanding of comments through gestures and clarification.
