Unfriending a cyber friend can have real and cyber implications. Real feelings may get hurt if you unfriend someone, which can lead to a lot of negative things online and off. Good reasons for unfriending associates include lack of engagement online, no communication offline, and unwanted status updates. Social networking is not a popularity contest, it’s a component of a users digital self.
Keep contacts unless they hurt your image because it is better to make friends than enemies.
