Your Mother has a right to access your computer at any time under proper netiquette principles. Cybercrime is on the rise. Fraud and identity theft are widespread. Hackers have conventions and companies recruit from them. There is a general lack of moral conduct on the internet or a lot of bad netiquette. That is why I made this site, so that good people will know what to do.

Netiquette, network etiquette is the social code of the internet because the internet is network and etiquette is a social code. The internet is a network because it is a collection of computers that communicate. Etiquette is a social code because it uses common conventions to determine the rules.

Anti Virus Software is something that every computer should have. For Microsoft users Microsoft Security Essesntials is a must. There are many third party free and fee based aniti virus software programs.

No matter what anti-virus software that you use you have to keep it updated. There are simple precautions that you can take to avoid getting a virus.

Do not open email attachments from people you do not know. Do not follow pop-up links because they have been known to infect computers with a virus.

Passwords are a fact of computers. Everyone who uses them has one or two. They can be strong or week based on how easy they are to predict.

Do not use your birthday, name, spouses name, or anything else that is easy to guess.

A strong password includes letters, numbers, characters, capitals, and is case sensitive. It is good netiquette to use a strong password and change it every three months.

Change your passwords every time you change your tooth brush.
