In theory a person who does not earn a living from something won't try as hard as they would if their livileyhood depended on it. This does not mean that someone who earns supplemental income is not professional, it just means that you can't expect them to be.
B2C is an acronym for business to consumer sales. Everything is sold on the internet. Auctions, classified advertising, and internet retail are the biggest sellers. B2C Netiquette shows you how to spot companies with bad and good business practices.
Netiquette, network etiquette, is the social code of the internet because the internet is a network and etiquette is a social code. The internet is a network because it is a collection of computers that communicate through digital signals. Etiquette is a social code because the rules and guidelines are driven by contemporary and common conventions.
Therefore, professional netiquette is the social code of doing business on the internet because professional means business and netiquette is the social code of the internet.
Business internet etiquette, netiquette, is the social aspect of doing business on the internet. The common courtesies, business practices, and social conventions business people extend to other business people and consumers on the internet are the rules of professional netiquette.
Professional in terms of the internet industry is a website that is HTML5 because it provides the functionality consumers expect from a website. Apple and Android devices support HTML5. No one can expect to earn a living from a website that cannot be displayed on an Apple or Android device.
Furthermore, the coding that it takes to design and maintain a site in HTML5 requires formal computer training.
Internet sales are driven by social recommendations rather than location and other traditional factors. Customer service is king in social sales. Location is a determinant in internet search, but sales are still driven by recommendation rather than real estate.
For example, it is good netiquette to listen to customer feedback. In general, for every customer who leaves negative feedback for a business or seller there are 100 others with a similar experience.
An internet auction occurs when an item is sold to the highest bidder on a website. They are similar to traditional auctions because they use the same format and terminology. They are different from traditional auctions in terms of the application of the process because it is purely electronic.
A whole new set of norms and common practices apply to internet actions that do not apply to traditional ones. The rules that come from the common practices are the rules of netiquette for auction websites.
Business is the economic system humans use to exchange goods and services for money. Business is a transaction for a good or service, where money is exchanged. Society is transaction based because business is how we deliver goods to each other.

Matt MySpace is trying to find himself right now. He is torn between free content and content regulation for better curation.

Larry LinkedIn is the consumate professional. LinkedIn has good netiquette built into the system. Larry follows the rules of professional netiquette in addition to all the other rules. He is the man.
