Privacy Attachment Netiquette Rules

It is proper Netiquette refrain from sharing files without permission. Don't attach copyrighted material.


Explanation

Do not share files that you do not have permission to. It may subject the recipient of the file to a claim. Proper permission is a license in most cases. A General Public License GPL or GNU is one type. The Creative Commons is another type with 3 variations that have different permission levels.


Internet Etiquette

Publishing content creates ownership by the publisher. GNU and CC are two types of licenses for computer related content that allow sharing. They are popular. CC has a few different levels with restrictions on them.


Netiquette

No sharing files without proper permission because content creators have a copyright.
